César Augusto Acevedo's long-awaited second feature film is a magical-realist and philosophical drama in which the cinematography of the Latin American landscape has become a third main character.

Basilio (Claudio Cataño) returns to his home and his mother Inés (Paulina García). He has been missing for a long time and is now, like his mother, deceased. The two spirits find no peace. They embark on a spiritual quest to find Basilio’s missing father, hoping for redemption from all the wrong decisions they made during their lives. Together, they journey through their war-torn country, attempting in vain to connect with the living along the way.

They slowly discover that they must make great sacrifices to escape their situation. The film explores the destructive nature of humanity and our need to dominate others in any way we can.
