Harvest What You Sow – Groninger Harvest Festival 2025

On Saturday, August 30, we’re celebrating the Groninger Harvest Festival once again! For this special 4th edition, we’re bringing the food garden to the city. All residents of Groningen are invited to join us at the Kop van de Akerk in the city center. This year’s theme is “harvest what you sow.”

Throughout the day, we’ll celebrate the local harvest and focus especially on the planting of the first seeds and new encounters—because you harvest what you sow! The day will be filled with various activities, workshops, and inspiring conversations for young and old. In the evening, we’ll end with a delicious plant-based dinner at the now-famous long tables. All vegetables, fruit, and herbs will again come from food gardens across the province.
