About the museum
MOW, formerly known as Museum de Oude Wolden, is located in Bellingwolde in Groningen. The museum focuses on art and cultural history from Westerwolde and the surrounding region. It features both contemporary art and exhibitions about local history and the landscape.

Besides the permanent collection, MOW showcases a wide range of artists, often with a connection to the landscape and stories of Westerwolde. The museum demonstrates how art and the environment continue to influence each other over time.
