The Liberation Festival Groningen is an annual event held on May 5th at the Drafbaan in Groningen, drawing large crowds each year. The festival celebrates freedom with a diverse lineup of music, art, and cultural performances, emphasizing themes of liberty and inclusivity. As part of a nationwide network of 14 liberation festivals, it contributes to over 200 performances across the Netherlands.
