A fresh start to the new year

As in previous years, Thuisbasis Veteranen, in collaboration with Wintergoud, organizes a refreshing start to 2026! Everyone is welcome – young and old – to dive into the new year together and kickstart it with energy.

What to expect

The New Year’s Dive is officially recognized by Unox. All participants receive an official Unox hat. Before the dive, there is a joint warm-up, so make sure to arrive at least five minutes early to join in.

Afterwards, participants receive a certificate from Unox, and enjoy warm hot chocolate and traditional Dutch pea soup (snert), provided by our sponsors.

Practical information

• Parking around Hoornseplas is free
• Participation is entirely at your own risk
• In case of extreme weather, cancellations will be announced by 10:00 on January 1
