Marina Reitdiep

As you have seen on the mainphoto, this place is lovely! This is one of the most photogenic places north of the city of Groningen. Many photographers come here at the crack of dawn or around sunset to capture a beautiful photo of this area. 

The colorful houses at the picturesque harbor of the Reitdiep exude a Scandinavian vibe. If you're a water sports enthusiast, then the Reitdiep marina is the place to be, with a village-like and cozy atmosphere. 

As you can see above, it's a water sports paradise here. Passersby, as well as residents of the city of Groningen, make use of the facilities at the Reitdiep marina. 

Here, you can rent a berth for your boat and explore the city from the water. You can also enjoy a nice cup of coffee at the harbor café. 

Practical Information

The Reitdiep marina is fully equipped. At the harbor office, you can register as a passerby. Here, you'll receive the access pass to the harbor gate and the sanitary facilities, as well as the WiFi code or any other information that may be useful during your stay. There's also a sail laundry service where you can have your boat tent cleaned. How convenient is that!
Ships up to 25 meters in length and with a draft of up to 1.90 meters can enter to refuel at the diesel station. The Reitdiep marina is secured, and the sanitary facilities are clean. Here, you can do your laundry and ironing. 

Accessibility

There is free and easily accessible parking at the marina.
Additionally, there's a good bus connection to Groningen city center and Groningen Central Station. Supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, hairdresser, a bakery, and various other shops are located directly at the harbor.
