Restaurant De Oude Sluis is a charming establishment located at Hunsingokade 3 in the picturesque fishing village of Zoutkamp. Since January 2015, owners Sytze Greidanus and Famke Greidanus-Holster have been welcoming guests, aiming to create a place where everyone feels at home and can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

The kitchen at De Oude Sluis primarily utilizes local products from the surrounding Groningen and Frisian countryside and the fish auction in Lauwersoog. The menu offers a wide selection for vegetarians and vegans. Examples of dishes include rib meat with hoisin, coleslaw, candied pearl onions, and black garlic mayonnaise, a true flavour explosion.

The restaurant offers various menu options, including a 3-course choice menu for €37, a 4-course surprise menu for €44, and a 5-course surprise menu for €49.
